Default Poor Little Kiss!

My new Zebra finch (Kiss) has passed away a few days ago!

I let her out of the cage to fly free in my room and as I was watching t.v I heard screaming, my lovebird Shiney attacked Kiss because she landed on top of his cage and poor kiss was bleeding on her foot. Being such a small fragile bird she died about an hour later.. It was only on her foot so I hoped she would have made it, poor little Kiss was such a beautiful finch. I'm so mad at Shiney but I can't hate him.

I hate seeing birds pass away, it's enough as it is with the wild birds I rescue.

Lovebirds can be really cruel, I have one and I do hate her because she bites Sunni whenever she lands on her cage, and made her foot bleed once. I was so scared.
RIP Kiss...

RIP Kiss.

Yes Lovebirds are very vicious and aggressive birds. I've heard that they bite the heads off of button quails.

Thanks everyone,

Yep lovebirds can be little brats but not all of them are this agressive, Shiney gets along great all breeds of birds his size or bigger than him, he'll cuddle up with quakers, green cheeks, jendays ect... but when the birds are smaller than him he gets mad for some reason. He has tried to bite Rainbow but I'll make sure he never does... rainbow is fully flighted so she keeps away from Shiney, I've heard of lovebirds killing budgies yet I heard of people keeping there lovebird paired up with them along with doves too! I geuss this really does show every single bird is different in their own way.
