Default my baby passed away this morning

My sweet baby Marvin/Chirpy passed away this morning. She was sick for 2 days. This morning she was weak and when she tried to fly to another perch she fell. I picked her up and she died in my hand. I had her for 8 months. I found her on the sidewalk in April. We had an amazing 8 months together. She brought such joy into my life after my dog passed in August.
I never imagined I could love a bird so much. I know I gave her a good life and she was very happy in her short but sweet life.
I have posted many pics of her here. She sure stole my heart. Fly free my sweet little friend.

i am so sorry to hear your little Chirpie has gone on
They may be tiny birds, but they do burrow deep into
our hearts and leave great empty spaces when they have
to leave us, and we know the ache you are trying to cope
with today. Chirpie was a lucky little bird to have been
found by you and given a happy life with you, and I know
she will be waiting for you at The Bridge. You and Chirpie
will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of your budgie girl's passing, it's never easy to say goodbye to such a beloved little friend. She was very lucky to be found by you and I'm sure she appreciated all the love and care you had provided for her.

Rest in peace, little Marvin/Chirpy. You will be missed.

Rest in Peace, sweet beautiful Chirpy. Keep her cute face and happy song close to your heart, and she will be with you forever. They leave us much too soon. Chirpy will be happy to know that you plan to get other little budgies to love, all because you found her on the sidewalk and gave her all the love and good care she deserved. Hugs to you.

Sorry to hear chirpy has gone. I am sure you brought her as much joy as she brought you.
I am glad you are going to get some budgies soon, that is great....

I am so sorry to hear of your budgie's passing. Such a sweet chance you gave to her and no matter how long or brief her time was with you, it was the best experience for you both. I hope you will adopt a pair soon. I lost one bird of a rescued pair in Sept and now have a young male friend for the lone female. It has been an adventure but always a joy.Good luck and be good to yourself.
