Unhappy In memory of Zippy, Pyro, Zeppy, and Tweety

Hey guys thanks to my dumb computer I have to start all over again. I just would like a spot where I can back to and remeber all of them and for other people to remember them too. I order them by how special they were to me.

Zippy was my sweet, special bird. Zippy was the 3rd bird I got. She was white with a sky blue belly and dark blue cheeks. Zippy couldn't do any special tricks or talk or any of the cool tricks like I've been reading about, but there was one thing she was really good at was making me smile. She always could cheer me up and I could talk to her about anything and it looked like she was actually interested
I didn't have that many friends that I could talk to so she did just fine. She also loved to be outside. I would put her on the patio and she was always so happy out there. Now she is resting peacefully in my backyard where I buried her. I regret not doing that with my other birds and I don't have a single picture of any of my birds. T.T Thank you Zippy for 4 long happy years.

I just started crying while writing this T.T

Pyro was Zippy's BEST friend for the few weeks I had him. He was dark blue with a little bit of light blue on his cheeks surrounded by yellow. He was the fourth bird I got. He was really special too because he wasn't scared of me or my dog. My dog was actually scared of both Zippy and Pyro . Pyro would sit on my finger and my shoulder while I walked around the house and only flew away once or twice. He also loved Zippy alot and didn't seem to try and mate with her which Zippy liked alot! He seemd to care about her alot and they loved to dance together! It was always soo cute!!! i miss watching them cause they did it in the morning when the sun came up. The night before Pyro died everything seemed normal and he didn't seem to be suffering or anything. When he died in the morning I was shocked and very very sad. I think Zippy was even more sad though. After he died and she saw me take him out of the cage, she started chirping and dancing like crazy. She was probably very confused and sad when he didn't dance with her. I only had Pyro for 3 weeks and I miss him a ton.

Tweety was my special little song bird. She would chirp the lovliest songs that would attract other birds to the window. Tweety was mostly yellow with a little bit of white here and there. She was the first bird I got so I didn't really know alot about birds. I kept her in my room which I now know was a huge mistake. I blame myself for her death because she had little to zero interaction with other people or birds. I wish I could bring her back and not make that same mistake because I did really love her. She only lasted a week and a half. But that was a very happy week and a half. Thank you for your lovely songs Tweety.

Last but not least, I only had Zeppy for a week so I didn't get to know him that well. He was mostly whited with black stripes all over hime and a blue belly. Zeppy was the second bird I got. He reminded me of a Zebra. He was very skittish and scared all the time and I didn't get a chance to fingure train him. He died because my mom accidentally put his cage over a vent and the air was too much for him.

I know this is super long but I miss them all so much. Please leave comments, my parents never understood how much they mean to me. They always tell me to stop dwelling on the past but it's really hard. Thank you for this wonderful website of people who care. None of my friends understood either so I don't have anyone to talk to about. I will never forget Zippy, Pyro, Zeppy, and Tweety. I hope Zippy and Pyro are together and happy. RIP~

Yes, we care and understand the pain of losing birds. You came to the right place.

RIP Zippy, Pyro, Zeppy and Tweety. You nearly made me cry reading that, I know how it is to lose a bird, and you obviously cared about them an awful lot. They'd thank you for it.

My parents didn't understand the loss of my birds either when I was little. My mother put the cage outside to do spring cleaning and our dog knocked it over. The cage came apart and they both flew away (forever). It was devastating. I can tell you really loved your birdies and I'm very sorry for your loss. R.I.P.

Here we all understand! Most of us have lost beloved pet birds. Many here also heard comments of insensitive people when it comes to our pets.
I am so sorry that you lost so many birds that were still so young.
They are all together in budgie heaven now! Your birds, my Schnappi...and all the others....

Sigrid
