Last weekend was a sad loss of our young Budgie called Snowy..Last friday 21st march Snowy was Alive and very well he was playing as he normaly would do.
But during the night he became ill.Thinking he may be just feeling down I decided to take him to a vet! Anyway the vet saying rather being a budgie feeling down you have a very sick budgie..
so she give him an injection for the loss of nutrition of food and water plus a hint of glucose to give him some energy..
within the next 2 hours he fell of his perch and tried to climb back up but he was so weak he was holding on to the cage with his beak as well as is claws and his wings open.So i decided to take him out of the cage as he kept falling off the perch.i wrapped him up in my t-shirt to keep him warm he lasted till around 9pm when he tried to crawl up my arm one last time he looked at me then all of a sudden! he shook a little bit then his little eye shut while i was holding him.
in a way i feel as though its my fault and feel guilty about what happend as i wish i could have taken him to the vet sooner!!!
Anyway if you would like to see Snowy i have put a small section up on my site dedicated to him along with a few pics..
If you decide to read the small story that i will update on there you will understand how im feeling...
