One of my two budgies (the blue one) started behaving very strangely last week. He started kicking, picking and yelling to the other one. So i had to separate them in two cages. At the time he had a fully grown wings (which i clipped earlier). Yesterday for our everyday greeting routine he went mad and (as he never did) bit my finger and fled directly towards the closed window. The other wing of the window was was very little open and somehow he managed to go through it and off and away. I couldn't see wher he flew away for i live on 5th floor and there's no trees at that heights.
I just hope that he found an open window where he could find a home, but i fear that if he didn't do so, he died from coldness last night.
Unfortunately i couldn't find him. The cage's been there for the whole week, but nothing. The problem is that i am on the 5th floor in a building on the top of the hill. There's no higher point. Also here is very harsh and volatile weather here at this time of year (there's a saying: Bad old aunt Marta (serbian for March))
Now i have a problem with the other guy. He's very sad and very stiff. I don't know what to do. Should I buy another bird or should i give all my attention and care only to him. I really don't know.
