Phillip passed away last night.. I can tell that he was a great fighter, he had a big health issue and all this coming from his head. His first story is this : https://talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=169225
and his second story is this: https://talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=199857
Phillip had a night fright in January and hit his head on the wooden perch. His leg was detached too. He recovered from his accident and a month later, he looked normal. He sang a lot, he ate and drank water normally. He played with his balls and came closer to me every time he saw me.
Twenty days ago began to have circular movement. At first I thought it was excitement but the vet said it was seizures. That hit on the head was the reason. In his last moments my mom and I were feeding him and giving him water and medicine with a small syringe. Yesterday I cuddled him and he held my finger with his foot, as if he didn't want to go away from me.
Now he no longer suffers. He flew away.. reaching his freedom and rainbow bridge. Phillip gave us here so many moments. I am grateful I was there in his good and his bad times. He seemed happy to be in our home.
I want to thank everyone in this site who gave me courage through Phillip's bad moments. I thank my vet too, who helped me as much as she could.
Rest in peace, sweet angel Phillip.
