Iam sorry for your loss of Dolly.
When Squeak passed away Bubble was in the cage and saw him fall. He looked every where for him, but he is now a happy bird i hope. Some day i want to get him a new friend but for now bubble and i get on really well, so if you are able to get your remaining budgie a new friend do it now

I am so sorry for your loss of Dolly. I would get another budgie friend. When both tiels died and left JoJo by himself he became so depressed he would not eat, play or sleep. He just stood there by his little mirror looking so sad. We had to run out and find a budgie playmate for him immediately as we were afraid we were going to loose JoJo also. JoJo perked up immediately when he first saw Tobie, and they have been the best of buddies ever since. Tobie recently helped JoJo get well by just being there and making sure he ate regularly.

sorry to hear about your loss, theres nothing worse then losing one of your little ones.

when my Arty died late last year, i was overseas so wasnt here for her which killed me, but her mate Tweety definately went into mourning. for days apperantly she just was very quiet, and before she wouldnt go near anyone but me, but she even let my mum hold her and when out she actually followed my mum around. shes fine now and has another mate, so is back to her old self.

if your budgie is use to being with others it might be best to get another budgie to keep it company when your not around, but only get one when you yourself are ready for another one.

once again sorry to hear about your budgie

Leah, Tweety and Snowy
