she died.........

My birdie died. She had a feather cyst, which had grown very big and vet just gave some medicines and said, it would go away on its own, but it did not go and today when i was giving her the medicines, the cyst started bleeding, and the blood was not less, it was in the 1/4 of the handkerchief, so after 5 minutes bleeding stopped, but she was feeling very weak, and was not able perch, so she sat on the cage floor, but she was eating, but suddenly after 5 hours, she was not able to sit, she was not able to control her feet's, i thought she's just too weak, but when i observed it, it seemed to be paralyzed, so i took her out of the cage, so that i could feed her the tomato juice, and then take her to the vet the next day(as it was late night). but after 10 mins of taking her out of the cage, she started flapping her wings weirdly(it seemed she's not flapping the wings, but its happening automatically- may be was a paralyses attack). and then her heart beats stopped. what was the reason for her death, was it a paralyses attack or it was a heart attack, and did it all happen because of bleeding.

Oh poor thing. I am so sorry for your loss Rahul. Be strong. You gave her the best care and she had a beautiful life with you. Cherish the memories you have of her.

Fly high little one.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, but you gave her a good life..May she rest in peace.
Budgies can't lose too much blood, they are little so alot if blood loss is dangerous, it's possible that's what happened, but honestly I'm not sure, just know you tried to save her, take care and remember the beautiful memories you shared.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Cherish those times that you shared and she shall remain in your heart.

It is likely that her death was caused by a number of things, the feather cyst and medications meant she was already fighting illness, the loss of blood would have exhausted her further which may have lead to a heart attack or the paralysis. Most importantly you did all you could for her.

Fly high little one.

Rahul, I'm so sorry that you lost your little one. It sounds like she may have had a seizure from lack of oxygen to be brain after all the blood loss. Kim's right, they can't lose too much blood without it being dangerous. She is in a better place now, free of pain and discomfort. She will await her friends at the rainbow bridge where she will fly happily to you and you both will be rejoined again. Please accept my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies during this difficult time. I know that this is painful, but the tears will eventually give way to ones of happy memories that you shared with her. Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Fly high and free little birdie, and sing a beautiful song!

-Kristen
