Jenni, although he has gone to the bridge he is always going to be with you in spirit, and many loving moments will be recalled and bring a smile to your face I qm sure. Time will help to make the sadness and emptiness you are feeling manageable soon perhaps in time you may want to open your heart to another budgie they don't replace but they do help you heal. Fly high and free sweet little one.

I am sorry for your loss Jeni. You are not alone in this difficult time, we are here for you and with you.

Your sweet Joey had a long and beautiful life filled with joy and love of being your best budgie companion.

Take good care of yourself. Tons of hugs.

Hi Jeni,

It's amazing how much our tiny companions can get in our heart and how very painful it is to lose them when they go. I feel for you in this time of sorrow and hope that very soon you will be able to laugh at some of Joey's shenanigans and just feel the joy of having had him in your life. It sounds as if you were both very lucky to have each other. I am so very sorry for your lose and know in my heart that he is always with you.

14 years was a long time for Joey to be with you, think of all the good times you & he shared together and one day those memories will make you smile instead of making you cry.

Awww Jeni how terribly sad for you, you must certainly miss your darling especially after 14 years. Give yourself time to grieve and all your wonderful memories will help eventually but now it will be too hard I am sure. What a wonderful life he has had with you amazing really 14 years. Someone with so much love to give could consider a new feathered friend in the not too distant future in honour of little Joey and to perhaps help your recovery Take care

hug

Sorry to hear of your beloved budgie passing. Sad as you may feel now, you did do a good job of caring for him to live to be 14 years old. You must of had many fine years together.
