Rest in Peace, sweet handsome Ollie. Keep his cute face and funny little voice close to your heart, and he will be with you forever. Your tribute to Ollie was so touching it made me cry. He was a special little guy who left us much too soon. I am so sorry for your loss.
So sorry about your little Ollie. He looks just like my Blue who died on the 20 October.Hope they will be playing together at Rainbow Bridge. So sad when we lose them. But worth the pain .Because They gave us so much love.
I am so sorry to read about your loss. OllieBudgie will have left a big gap in your lives. It is hard to make these little bundles of joy such a big part of your family, and then to lose them after what is a relatively short time. Reading your words, I can see how much you loved him, and looking at your You-tube posting, he seemed to be a happy little chap. I guess all we can do is grieve for the loss, and celebrate that we had them in the first place.
I have both laughed and cried reading your tribute to Ollie. I can't tell you how much I feel your grief and how sorry I am for all of you. I firmly believe that anyone who has the capacity to grieve for what some would call such a small creature is a sign of a truly good and genuine person. Eventually when the pain starts to wean and the fun memories flood in, you will start to feel better but that place in your heart will always be filled by Ollie. I wish there was something that I could actually say to ease your heart. I do, however, know that you were both very lucky to have each other. Thinking of you and your family.
Oh my goodness - What a tribute to a Darling and beloved little budgie! I am moved beyond measure to read about your life with Ollie - he reminded me so much of my Sweet Pea, in health and in sickness...
I lost him in 2008, after 5 1/2 wonderful years, that I consider the golden era in my life. What joy; and what heartache to follow...I cried every day for 2 years after; but I can tell you that now I have mostly happy memories - the pain Does fade, and is replaced with so much thanksgiving for having had him as such a marvelous part of my life.
Thank you for sharing Ollie's story with us - it is a privilege to know about your sweet friendship with that Outstanding little guy, Mr. Budgie.
My heart goes out to you - I am so sorry for your great loss.
Unending Thanks, Ms FaeryBee, for the Absolute Perfect Picture!
