I am so sorry. What a terrible loss. A damp and possibly moldy wall could make them sick but they would not die all at once. Any new food? Like the others said carbon monoxide? Did you have the windows open and maybe a neighbor was spraying poison or fertilizer? You can call (I think the gas company) to have carbon monoxide checked as it could hurt you as well. If they were sick it would not have happened all at once. It had to be a poison or toxin of some kind in their food or the air.

I am soo soo sorry. I can't imagine losing all 3 babys at once. My heart is breaking for you and for your loss of your 3 babys. I would think something happend to lose all 3 at once. I would do what the others have suggested. I know words can't comfort you right now but know you are in my thoughts. Again I am soo very sorry. Fly free little budgies.

wow i am so sorry for your loss

if you have a damp wall, it is most likely molded and mold is not good for birds, animals or humans,

but the only way to be 100% sure would be to get a necropsy done on at least one (i'm sure what ever caused one to die caused the others as well). But I am not sure how much those cost.

thanks all for your kind thoughts, i also thought of carbon monoxide but there was no gas fires, boilers etc on so i ruled that out (but today i have fitted an air brick i know its to late for my friends but thought it may be a good idea) although i did use the grill on the cooker in the next room quiet late last night but cant remember if their room door was open, i am totally gutted but i am managing to hold the tears back now (just), i feel like a huge hole has been cut out of my heart.

i have buried all of them in my garden together, god bless them

Oh my gosh...how tragic. I'm so sorry to hear this. I couldn't even imagine seeing all my flock like that. I am baffled about their sudden deaths. But I do hope you get an explanation for it. Sorry again.

RIP Cos, Dodo & Camo...

I am so sorry for your loss too. maybe there is a mold problem or maybe the bbq grilling you mentioned that you did late last night... as smoke is not good for budgies.... i just read a lot that they are sensitive to smell.... like if you burn a candle or incense or use strong chemicals like furniture cleaner or bleech etc... all that can hurt them......

so sorry.... i do hope you can at least find out an explanation too....*hugs*

Wow..I'm so sorry for your devastating losses! That is strange though I would want answers and the best way is a necropsy.

I just wanted to say I am so very sorry to hear of your losses. My thoughts are with you and please know you have all kinds of support from the members here. While I have never had so many losses all at the same time, I can relate on many levels. Things just aren't the same when they aren't with us since we just get so attached to the little fellows. Again, I am so sorry...
