Remembering Frostie
Not sure if this is the right part of the forum to post in as I don't know what happened to him or whether he is still alive somewhere, tonight is 2 years to the day since Frostie flew out an open door that someone else in the house had left open. I'm still heartbroken as much now as the day it happened, it's absolutely devastating not knowing what happened to him & I just wish someone could tell me but then if it turned out to be bad news I don't think I'd want to know as that would destroy me if he really did perish out there all alone :(

Part of me still hopes for the phone to ring one day with someone saying they have him. Not a day, even an hour goes by where I don't think of him, he was the most loving budgie I'd ever had in my entire life which makes this even harder to deal with, I don't know how to come to terms with losing him the way I did.

Wherever you are Frost I hope the angels are looking after you, I'll never forget about you xx

Nice tribute to a handsome little fellow Paul.

Beautiful Frostie where ever you may be
God's appointed angels are watching over thee

There's protection all around.
Under the refuge of God's wings,
Security is found.
For there are angels
watching you to keep you in all of your ways,
Keeping you from troubles,
so don't be afraid.
God's appointed angels are watching over thee
Holding you in love and watching over thee

Adapted from song written by
Rick Price and Richard Lee Smallwood
titled "Angels Watching Over Me"

What a sweet tribute to your handsome little man. He obviously is very missed and I hope he is in a good place now.

It is true that we never forget our special little friends and while your Frostie is sadly no longer with you, it's very possible he is in a new home where he is loved and well looked after. One day both your souls will meet again in eternity.

All the best to you moving on from your grief. It is possible to faithfully carry the memory of a lost one without carrying the burden of pain at the same time. Forever grieving does not do the departed any good, nor us.

Celebrate all the memories you have of Frostie and allow the pain to fly away. It is time now.
