i had to put Leo down on August 12th. he was having liver issues and it was time. i rescued him and Ace about a year and a half ago. they came from a bad situation and were untamed, scared, and not cared for. they both trained fast and i thought them how to wave. they both came out of their shell. Leo didn't make close friends, but he enjoyed playing with toys and loved to get misted and swim in the water dish. he loved the freedom and the fact that he didn't have to be scared anymore.
now he is flying free with Lenny, Butch, and Pumble

I'm so sorry to hear this, Shelly... You have my deepest sympathies.
Leo was very fortunate to have been adopted by you, surely he knows how much he was loved and cared for, and while that final decision was certainly difficult to come by, in the end you did the right thing for your boy.
Time will heal the pain from no longer having your Leo around and hopefully soon the memories of the good times you had with him will give you comfort.
Rest in peace, Leo. You were much loved and will be missed.
RIP sweet Tito (Summer 2008 - January 17th 2013).
You are missed and never will be forgotten.
Shelly, I'm so sorry your boy Leo has been lost to you.
Although your decision was hard, it was for the best and I know that now he is flying high over the rainbow bridge, looking down at you. He was a very handsome little man and quite a character by the looks of it, I know he was loved and he knew it throughout his life.
Fly high, sweet Leo, rest in peace. Hugs to you in your grief
and Princess Mallorn!
Thank you to Deb for her wonderful Faery magic

Rest in Peace, sweet handsome Leo. Keep his cute face and happy song close to your heart and he will be with you forever. Shelly, you gave Leo what he deserved most, a home filled with love and good care and lots of other budgies. He will always thank you for that. I am so sorry for your loss.
