Commander Peepers was a gift from my Aunt from across state that she brought with her to give me at our family reunion, only she didn't think things through compleatly and it may have caused him to get sick in the end.
I was still very new to taking care of budgies so i had no idea what to look for, but a bird being fluffed for a week is a clear sign to get them checked out.
He was brought over and was to be dropped off at my house to relax during the weekend we were gone but was brought with her to the mountains higher up in elevation he was use too and just couldnt seem to get back to normal after i got him home.
He was at least 3-4 years old and was told shortly after he passed that my Aunt was sure he was on his last bits of life as was. He was always a very quiet and not very active boy, but was thrilled to see him pick up instantly when he was introduced to my boy, BB.
BB and i were both sad to see him go, but in the end i know this last week was the most fun he had in a long time im sure.
I may not have been able to know you long, Commander Peepers... but i wont forget you
