I found Vincenzo on the bottom of the cage, he was very still but would start yelling randomly. I bought him in a smaller cage but he started having seizures and didn't seem to know what was going on. I cuddled him all morning and he slept on my lap, waking up when he would have a seizures. Finally he seemed to be getting better and so I put him back in the small cage and he started eating. By the afternoon though, he was constantly twitching really bad and he couldn't perch. He stayed on the bottom of the cage that night and I don't think he was able to sleep. I took him to a bird shop where professionals are and they said there's nothing that can be done. He had nerve damage and so he was put down this Thursday. He died at 15 years old which I am told is very good for an English Budgie as he was. I am glad that he is no longer suffering and for the year that I had him he lived a relaxing, spoiled life.
I will always love Vincenzo and miss his cute little songs he sang everyday, especially when there was a lot of noise. He loved Gum Tree Branches and washing himself on wet ones. I loved his cute personality and everything about him (except the bite he had!) Love you forever Vinnie!
Oh dear, sweet Vincenzo! You have lived a long and good little budgie life but you are being called elsewhere, now...it is time.
I am so sorry to hear of little Vinnie's departure, Taylor, and I know this must be crushing for you. He was an adorable little darlin' and always will be in the memories the two of you have created together. I am glad that you were able to be there for him in his time of need and be able to set him free in his sleep. It is not an easy matter when the only choice is to let him be at rest.
In your time of grieving, hold on to those precious memories and moments. They will help you through and lift your spirit.
Farewell, Vincenzo, farewell. You lived a good life

I'm so sorry for your loss... You have my deepest sympathies over your Vincenzo's passing. Surely your budgie boy is very appreciative for all you have done for him and hopefully soon the many memories of the good moments you had with Vincenzo will give you comfort.
Rest in peace, beautiful Vincenzo. You were much loved and will be missed.
RIP sweet Tito (Summer 2008 - January 17th 2013).
You are missed and never will be forgotten.
So sorry for your loss of little Vincenzo - He did, indeed, live a very long life for a budgie nowadays, proof of how well he was loved and cared for.
Rest in peace, Vinnie - you will be greatly missed
