My blue pet budgie Tweety has recently died of an illness. I was very heart broken because it died right in front of me and I couldn't do anything about it. It all started when one day Tweety was sitting on the same perch the entire day and it's feathers were fluffed, we didn't know it was a bad thing. The next day Tweety was sitting at the bottom of the cage, I tried to contact a lot of vets, but no avian vets were available in my area. I was extremely concerned because Tweety was bobbing its head and its droppings were a different color. I started to get really scared about Tweety's sickness. The day after that the day Tweety died, it was so weak that had trouble walking we rushed to get Tweety to a vet but as we were getting ready to go Tweety was on the floor of our mini cage and didn't move. I don't know how Tweety got this illness, because it was just a year old. I've had so many good times with Tweety such as when it would fly on top of my ceiling fan and when it would sit on top of my computer when I was using it, or when I would feed it spray millet and it would viciously eat it. I feel like Tweetys death was my fault because I didn't get medical attention when it needed it. I will never forget Tweety, I hope she's in a better place.
