I'm in tears and SO very sorry for your loss reading through your post. Different situation, but I know your heartbreak and still cry on a daily basis over our sweet little Jojo we lost December 13, 2018. I wrote the story in my profile if you care to read-- I can't type it all here. Just want you to know I completely understand how you feel and am SO very sorry for how you're feeling-- if people haven't had little birdies I don't feel many can truly understand how we feel losing them. Big huge hugs to you--& I'm here too if you ever want please do message. Maybe we can help one another. Sending love to you!

NatalieZ is on a distinguished road

And we lost our lovely Henry (who also came to use in 2014) in September. It is heartbreaking and I really sympathise with you. I cried buckets when we had to put Henry down (I know how hard that choice is to make). Remember, you did everything you could and you did the right thing for gorgeous Pero who clearly loved you a lot.

People who say 'it is just a bird' obviously have no experience with birds so we have to feel sorry for them. Take your time to grieve. Frame a beautiful picture as a keepsake or plant a tree - something that you can keep close to you. Thinking of you.
