Default Gentle Thomas has left

Late afternoon we discovered our gentle (almost 3 yrs old)blue and white budgie Thomas on the bottom of the cage. He had just had his dinner at 3 pm and I had taken a nap. My husband excitedly woke me up telling me one of the birds was on the floor!Sweet Thomas was lying prone on his belly and was still warm but I knew he was gone. There had been no outward signs of illness, suffering, odd droppings, etc so it was a shock. I am thinking it might have been his heart or internal? He had already been scheduled for a checkup the last Monday of this month. I lost Archie earlier this spring from a fast growing tumor and had only recently introduced a young male & female into the group early Aug,so there would have been 6. Now we are 5.I am just glad I had this little peacemaker with the other rowdy ones in my life for the time he was here with us. RIP Thomas....

I'm so sorry for your loss of your sweet boy. May he rest in peace

It's never easy to lose a beloved friend. My thoughts are with you during this time!

Fly high, gentle boy

Little Thomas was a beautiful boy and I'm sure he will be sorely missed. He was fortunate to have had you to love and care for him during his time here on earth.

Fly high and soar freely gentle Thomas; rest peacefully now sweet boy.
