i havent posted anything for a while, but this is something that i should announce. I was having a bad day at school, so when I got home I didnt think it could get any worse. IT DID! There, in my room, was my bird, dead on the floor of his cage. I have absolutly no idea how it happened. Percy didn't even seem sick at all. But its dumb for me to say that because for any one who had read my previous posts, I can't take him to the vet. Thats also the reason Im not getting any more birds. Its to sad if I cant help them when they're sick. So REST IN PEACE, Percy.....
I am so sorry to hear about Percy. I have lost a budgie last year who died suddenly. Seemed happy one day and they next day she was gone for no apparent reason.
I sympathize with the way you feel about not being able to care for Percy. Doesn't mean that it was your fault so don't be so hard on yourself.
Sorry about the loss of your bird,Percy. Some places do sell birds last really live to be old birds. Others, the birds tend to get ill and die way earlier. If you can find a good place that sells quality birds, do get another one.
I'm so so so sorry to hear about Percy and about your whole day. When it rains, it pours. We are all here for you though!! I'm sure this is a very hard time for you but things will look up. My best wishes to you.
I also want to say, I think it's a very responsible and selfless decision for you to make to not get any more birds since you can't see a vet. You are truly putting the birds' happiness before your own and that is a brave and caring thing to do.
Rest in Peace, Theodore. -- Charles, Sabrina, and Lola
