On Saturday our beloved Abbey (the Border Collie) crossed the Rainbow Bridge, held in the loving arms of her Mom and Dad, helped by the wonderful Doctor Chris.
Even thought this is a Budgie forum, I hope that there is room to pay tribute to a brave and shining soul, comforter of the Rescues/Fosters that have passed through our doors, Guardian of the home from all that is new and different, beloved companion of 13 1/2 years. I just couldn't post this before now( I managed 2 other postings on Sunday), My heart is shattered..Good bye Abbey ... go find Aimee and Lacy and play in the sunny fields by the Bridge, til we meet again - Mommy loves you...always.

Oh Maureen, I am so sorry for your loss. The worst part is the quiet.
Abbey has crossed Rainbow Bridge and is playing in the grassy fields with Aimee and Lacey.
Abbey will no longer be at your side, but will be close to your heart and forever in your soul.
Rest in quiet peace little Abbey.
