Default R.I.P Wild bird..

I woke up this morning to my dog sniffing something in the pond this morning.
I went out to see what it was, and it was this beautiful black bird,
lying dead in the pond.
It had beautiful colors, it was black, but when you looked closer,
it had purple and green coloring within the black.
Truly amazing.
And there it lie dead in the nasty pond water.
So I wanted to say goodbye to this little creature,
who was too beautiful to have to spend the last minutes of his life,
in such filth.

I took it out with a shovel and put it in our compost in the alley.
Seeing as it's illegal to bury animals in your backyard..

Rest in Peace you little free flying bird of the wild

Possibly, I don't know much about outdoor birds..
It was either some kind of black bird of perhaps a starling..

You should check with your department of health, I think starlings are one of the birds they like to check for the presence of west nile.
