babybluebudgie is on a distinguished road
Unhappy It has been one year now

She was a female hand bred and was very tame and so playful and full of life. She helped me through some really hard times and would nudge my cheek when I cried. She learned to make kissing sounds and mimic sounds around my apt. It has been a year since she passed April 1st 2009 at only 2 and a half years, but I still cry several times a week. I miss her so very much, she was my darling baby

Quite a few of us can relate to such a loss. It isn't easy, but talking about it helps. She sounds like a wonderful bird.

I know just how you feel. She sounds like she was a wonderful friend to you.
It is never easy when they go away but she will always be with you in your heart.
RIP little one.

I am really sorry for you, and I understand perfectly how you feel. Last week I have lost my belowed blue budgie too, and I miss him so much...
As you said, is nice to have 'others to relate to'.

I think we should be happy we had/have the opportunity to love such special creatures.

As the others have said, it is never easy but it really helps when you can talk to others here who understand what you are going through. I know just how you feel too, I still cry lots when I think of my Georgie who I lost recently...just from looking at some pics today. You will always miss them and it's only natural to cry, doesn't matter how long after they have gone.

We smile when we think of the lovely memories we have of our little birdies, but those memories bring a tear too....usually at some point down the line, you will shed a tear and straight after, smile, when remembering something else about them It's always a mix of emotions, we wouldn't be human if we didn't feel that way.

As Charlie said, she is probably flying around with new found friends and also looking down at you and watching you cry and nudging your cheek without you even knowing She is always around you xxx
