Hey everyone this is my first time posting on this site. I wanted to post my budgie Skeeter's memorial on here; I know that the people who are on this site love and appreciate these amazing little birds. I'm in awe at how such a little creature can make such an impact on someone's life...I'm really feeling it now with the loss of Skeeter 2...I had her for 14 years. I got to spend more than half my life with this amazing bird..she gave me kisses and let me scratch under her wing. And she was the smartest little thing. I know that she lived a long and great life and it was just her time to go but oh man the tears keep coming and coming...just knowing that there are other people that can relate makes me feel a little better.
I'm sorry for your loss! - hugs -
Having an animal in your life for any amount of time is very hard when you lose them,
and 14 years must make it harder,
but he/she DID live a long, I'm sure, prosperous life with you,
and it seems as you loved the little one deeply,
we all here know how it is to love these little creatures,
you will find others who can sympathize with you,
Welcome to the forums, I am sorry for your loss Many of us have felt the loss of our little loved friends so indeed can relate. 14 years wow what a great life for your bird You gave her an amazing life.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
Many of us here know how it feels when our budgies leave us.
She sounds like she was one amazing budgie and although you will always miss her, you will smile when you remember her.
Rest in Peace Skeeter.
Skeeter 2 must have been quite an amazing little budgie. Fourteen years being happy and healthy can attest to the fact that she was loved.
It doesn't get easy missing them when they're gone and it never should.
Years from now you'll come across a picture of her and tears will come again. I know that for a fact. But I also know that one day we'll see our little friends again. That alone brings tears to my eyes right now.
Skeeter 2 will always be in your heart and forever in your soul.
Fly high and free Skeeter 2. You'll never be forgotten.
