Default Rest In Peace Peep and Bam-Bam

Peep and Bam-Bam were my very first pet budiges. They were about 2 years old when they passed away. A few days ago my mom woke up and looked in the cage and there was Bam-Bam lying there. She quickly picked him up and he was still warm but gone. She felt him get cold We buried him in the garden and planted a bunch of flowers. And then, to make the day worse, Peep, Bam-Bam's buddy, flew out the door that was open for not even 2 minutes. We think he flew out the door because he was looking for Bam-Bam and he didn't want to live with out him Anyways, we went frantically searching around the neighborhood for poor little peep. Eventually we heard peep singing, so I was looking in the trees. Then I spotted him. we got a bird cage out with our other singing birds to maybe get him to come down but he didnt Just then a couple birds came flying around and he got scared and flew away... When we finally found him again in another tree my mom tried to climb the tree to get him. She was about 5 branches away from him when he flew again...this time into a gigantic tree waaay at the top.... We tried having the singing budgie cage around but he still wouldn't come down. Eventually it was getting cold so we decided to go home. We were reeally sad and we still are... R.I.P Peep and Bam-Bam, I will never forget you guys

That is so sad. I would try again tomorrow with his cage. Put up notices so if anyone happens to see or hear him, they can contact you.

I am very sorry for your loss.
Keep trying to find Peep, budgies are tougher than you think and he may have survived the cold night. He may have found his way to someone else who took him in. Post some flyers around where you last saw him, you never know.
I hope he finds his way home to you.

So sorry for your double loss. Keep on trying though because some members here have managed to catch lost budgies.

I'm so sorry for your losses.
Don't give up, you may still get Peep back. Post fliers around the neighbourhood in case someone found him. Good luck.
