Parakeet is on a distinguished road
Default RIP Clyde

Clyde was a blue and green parakeet. He was very active and friendly and could often be caught doing flips from the swing. However, Clyde got attacked by one of my ferrets and I couldn't get there in time.

I sold both of the ferrets and have replaced clyde, but he will always be remembered.

R.I.P. Clyde, may you fly forever. Congradulations on your new bird. And I think it was okay to get rid of the ferrets...it is your decision, and if it helps you cope, so be it.

Thanks for the kind words. I didn't blame the ferret as it was his natural instinct. I just knew I had to decide between the two or face the fact that I might lose another bird. They had knocked over the bird cage before this incident so I should have already taken action. The ferrets got a great new home so they are better off now as well.

Rest in Peace, little Clyde. Fly high and keep watch over the new budgie.
