Default ChickenMc Nugget

I have to share this story.

Especially with all of you who love your birds so much. My sweet Nugget was just a baby - only 6 months old. HE was very curious, and inquisitive. He was on my shoulder one night when he decided to jump down and follow his daddy (my fiance) into the kitchen on the floor on his tiny little chicken feet to see what he was doing in the kitchen - I thought my fiance had seen Nugget behind him. There was a terrible accident and I can't stop crying. I miss my budgie so much - my sweet little friend. Most awful thing I have ever seen. I am so stupid to let him walk on the floor. I can't stop blaming myself and I don't know how to feel. If I had only stopped him, my Nugs would still be here. i miss him. ..

As you said in your own words, it was an accident. Clearly you never intended this nor did your fiance. Your little nugget clearly was well loved and friendly to both of you. Albeit his life short, it was filled with goodness. Fly free little one.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your little Nugget. But don't keep blaming yourself. Just like Ilovemybudgies said, "We all make mistakes and learn from them" and accidents happen - this was an accident and there is no one to blame. The hurt will heal in time.

R.I.P. Nugget - Fly high and free over the rainbow bridge.

Dont worry we all make mistakes. My FOUR WEEK old budgie just died from starvation because i didnt realise the dad wasnt feeding her. Imagine that! Dont worry your definintly not alone! Another owner just had thier budgie attacked by their cat. Its just a very tragic week now isnt it! I am just trying to show you that you are not alone.

(I thought I had replied to your thread already but I guess I hadn't.)

I'm so very sorry this happened. I can only imagine how awful this would have been. It was a terrible accident and I am sure you wish you could turn back the time to get your little baby back. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Fly high, fly free, fly forever little Nugget...
