Today I had to say my goodbyes to a wonderful bird
The one who was so beautiful and caught my eye
So many memories and wonderful times
You left us all with tears in our eyes.
With one last breath you laid your head to rest
Dreaming of ducking, diving and soaring thru the sky
Singing tweet, tweet, tweets I'm free to fly.
Her soul flew up to heaven were it belongs
God took her in his hand and said
Hello again your home at last.
I lost my baby girl tweets last night as she got hurt by the cat the night before last we knew she may not make it from the extent of her injuries and the vet informing us 9pm 15 minutes after the attack had occurred, The avian vet was an awesome lady she did as much as she possible could but the shock of it may have killed tweets. I'm still so unbelievably upset losing her was hard but life comes and goes i guess, it's nature. But hopefully one day i will be able to see her again (fingers crossed). I am so glad that she was near her friend when it happened and she wasn't alone. We put her in a box she liked and her favorite toy went with her also with a cross where her little body lays where beautiful flowers are. I will never forget you and you hold a special place in my heart.
Ka kite pepe (Goodbye my baby)
E moe takotora ra putiputi atahua (time to go to sleep my beautiful flower)
Arohanui Tweets (Love you Tweets)
She was a risk taker not one to sit quietly she tried things that always had my heart over exerting. She was an enjoyable creature to watch with a lovable character a joy to have once enter my life, Left my side to early but left me with nothing but fond memories, My heart yearns for her with each passing breath but now it's time to let you rest. I will always miss the small joys you brought into my world: you became my best friend in a very short time.
I'm so sorry to read of your loss Joey001...your poem to Tweets made me weep.
Rest in peace little Tweets.
