Last night i was putting my budgies away in there cage.I could not find queeny, but i figured she would crawl up to the cage to try to join King Blue.I heard her making her beeping sound that she makes when she gets anoyed in my closet so i went to get her thinking that she may have gotten stuck on the top shelf.Silly bird, she always did like it up there. But queeny wasn't there,I found her behind the bird toy box on the floor and she was breathig like she had just run a long race. Her wings were on her side and touching the ground.I never told you guys this but Queeny had a respitory infection a little while ago whch she recoved fully from.Ever since then i have kept a close eye on her and the rest of the flock. The day that she died she was comepletaly normal.Flying around, eating, climbing, and bickering with her friends. Not to mention cuddling up to her mate,King Blue.I picked up Queeny thinking that her respitory infection had come back but i soon relized that that wasn't the case. She was way to week to move much and could not stay on a perch.I put her on my bed so i could dig out my hospital cage but she kept trying to crall towards the budgie cage. She kept making the beeping sound and King kept calling out to her. she was in my hands when she stopped breathing quickly, instead she took realy big gasps of air.She was so cold, she took her last big breath around 11:45 at night on December 5th. There wasn't a single person awake in my house but i still woke up my mom so she could help me put her in a box. This morning i woke up to the snow covering the ground. It is beautiful. But i can't burry Queeny.Queeny was a loving, quiet, beeping budgie. She would spend most of her time sitting beside King or exploring my cockatiels cage. She was my precious grey budgie.
Oh Chelsea, I'm so sorry to read about the passing of your beloved Queeny and offer my condolences.
Rest in peace little Queeny.

O sweetie, so sorry to hear of the loss of Queenie, she is flying way over the rainbow brige and she will be checking in on you and King from time to time. I hope King is OK , as it seems they were very close. Bug hugs to you both, but she is watching and will check up on you from time to time, wait out for those budgie breaths on your cheek
