On January 12, 2011, I lost the most important thing in my life - my pet, Cosmo. He was the first pet that I have ever had. I have had him for about 2 years. Those two years were the best years of my life. I still remember the times when he would chirp to tell me that he wants to go outside to fly. When I would let him outside, he would fly for a bit and then insist on going into my hands so that he could mate with them. He was such a funny and lovable bird. It all started on December 9, 2010 when I noticed that there was something wrong with his foot - he was not able to grip with it and all that he would do with it is drag it. I watched him suffer and become worst and worst until he died after a month. I did take him to the vet but all that he did was prescribe something. Unfortunately, it was no help. He was one of my closest friends. I know that now he is no longer suffering and is at a better place. My family and I will miss you dearly Cosmo. I hope that you are now in a better place.
