Got a phone call this morning bummble 4wks old being hand raised for my daughters birthday pressie is missing 2 others have brocken legs the breeder went out yesterday for 1hr and left the cage open for the older ones to fly in the room only to come home and bumble the youngest is missing the pappers everywhere all wet from the water being tipped over x2 have blood every where and bumble 12hrs later cant be found she has pulled every thing out searched every where his not calling out etc all i pray is that it was quick and his not stuck some where we love u bumble xxxxx
Were there any other animals in the house, or could it have been a wild rat?
No other animals the poor lady she was in twars on the phone shes now trying to find a replacement bird for my daughter shes only turning 3 she loves bumble soo much we visited him weekly and she says my bumble i havent told her were trying to find another blue or blue green baby to replace him so she doesnt know the difference or we hope she doesnt
Ok she cant get another like him so now what do i tell my daughter????i m going to pick upthe other one tomorrow while shes at childcare im hopining that she will just be happy to have one???? Will start new post
Thats sad, but it is totally the breeders fault. The cage should NEVER be left open when your are out of the room for a period of time and birds shouldn't even be let out when breeding. Totally preventable.
