Default Mummy budgie dies

I have had my budgies a few months now and started with a pair who seemed very happy anyway after my budgie had laid her second clutch I took everyones advice and took the daddy out and put him in with the babies and eerything seemed ok.

Today I was going to put daddy back in with her but when I went to her box I found her dead, do you think it was maybe my fault as I had seperated them

I am so sorry that you lost your little girl

I do not think it had anything to do with you separating her at all. I do the same thing regularly for their own good too and never have lost one from it, so I suspect there was something else going on that you could not see.

Rip, little one you will be missed

Oh dear, I am so very sorry. You didn't do anything wrong, it wasn't your fault at all. She might have had something else wrong. I know that you are so sad, and I hope you come to peace with her passing.
RIP little one
