Hello everyone, many of you will remember me from the heartbtreak I had with Peanut and Pippin.
I felt I needed to have more budgies , so I bought another pair who I named Birdie and Blue. They were a delight, I loved them and they were devoted to each other. We had a holiday booked for August and I have a relative who cares for my birds every year, she has a budgie of her own , so is totally experienced in their care. She had a lot of worry just before we were due to go, her husband was taken into hospital and he won't be coming home. So a cousin of hers came to stay with her while we were away. So I felt confident in leaving Birdie and Blue with them.
While we were gone the worse thing happened they went to the hospital and left one of the doors of their cage open and a window, they found Blue flying in the room, but Birdie had escaped, the part that hurts so bad is not knowing what happened to him, I have all sorts of horrors going though my mind.
Blue was miserable when we came home, he just sat on his swing. I have bought him a pal who is now in the same room as Blue, I picked a boy who looks like Birdie, but I have a feeling Blue won't be easily fooled. He just glares at him from his cage, but in time I will find out ! I will introduce them outside thir cages.
I want Birdie to be remembered, he was a beautiful boy and only 4 months old , so thank you for reading this .

Hopefully someone has found Birdie and is giving him lots of love and good care. We always hear stories about big hearted people who find escaped budgies and give them good homes. I bet that happened to Birdie.
Oh no - I hope and pray your little Birdie is safe, and will return home soon;or else, be rescued by a kind soul somewhere...Don't give hope - quite a few lost budgies have been found, against all odds
Unending Thanks, Ms FaeryBee, for the Absolute Perfect Picture!
What an awful thing to have happen. It was surely
an accident, but still, everyone involved must be
I agree with everyone; hopefully Birdie has landed
in loving hands and is doing fine. But some people
are honorable enough to try to find the original owner.
Have you done any hunting about? Posting notices?
Calling the humane society in the area and local vets?
Someone may have asked for help locating his family
or spoken with someone who would remember the
tale of the budgie who dropped in from nowhere. Knowing
something might help.
If not, and Birdie has truly struck out on his own without
a note left for those at home, I do hope that both Blu's little
heart and yours can accept this newcomer who really needs
a good home too
Never give up! Never surrender!
