I am still learning so before the experts come on I would like to say clearflight cobalt spangle. One thing I can tell you for sure is, its a beautiful bird.

Actually it is one of the colony bred birds. The mother is a Mauve spangle (don't know if there is some violet in her) and the cock is a normal cobalt violet. ???????

Looks like a cobalt violet full body greywing spangle, does the chick have pied markings in its chest or is that just feathers in the wrong place?
