This male budgie has me stumped. In the clutch were grey wings I thought but now guess they were clear wings because the body is so bright??? like the colbalt brother in this picture. I am requesting info in the darker one. I thought it was a mauve but as he has matured he has developed dark grey patches all over him and his feet are really dark grey. The parents to these 2 both carry the violet factor.

Could he be a mauve budgie with greywing ("grey on the wings and a 50% diluted body colour")
Visit Budgie palace's website and look at the picture of the blue budgie with two dark factors, that gives it a mauve/grey colour. Then look at one of the budgies with greywing and let me know what you think.

Oh man I don't know but can I have him!!! He is my current dream budgie!!!! Could he be a grey with a violet factor? Pictures with brighter light would help. Seriously though, I could leave right now and come get him!
