First I want to apologize for not being able to post a picture of my daughter's new male budgie, what would certainly simplify things, huh.
I've looked around the web for a picture of a similar looking bird with no luck.
This little guy is about 4 months old, I'd say, and has a pale yellow face, pale sky blue covering his chest, dark eyes, blue cheek patches, a bit of pale gray on his wings, but overall his wings, all tail feathers, and head are a light cream color, that is, a yellowish white.
So my question is, Can a white-based budgie--and I assume that this cutie is so since he also has blue feathers--display shades of creamy white? I'm only familiar with the typical pure, bright white in budgies, and given my elementary understanding, he can't be a yellow-based budgie. Right?
Thanks for your help!
