i know theoretically they will produce ino male but i wanted to know if u have tried this combination practically?
With genetics, the mutation and inheritance of a budgie is established/confirmed through successful matings to get specific mutations, they don't just come up with what they think will happen and try it out, it is completely proven that an ino female plus a male split for ino will produce male and female ino chicks as wells as normal chicks. Every time you combine birds with these traits, the offspring possibilities are the same. Of course, if your birds have 4 chicks, it is not guaranteed that one will be an ino female, one an ino male, one a normal female and one a male split for ino. You could get all normals, or all inos or any combination of the possibilities, but the possibilities don't change.
