I wasn't sure where to post this so I hope here is okay. I have 4 lovely budgies and I would like to know what mutation classifications they are. I hope the pictures are good enough. Also Simon (the blue with yellow head) and L.B. (Green yellow head) are paired and I have 3 new chicks with 6 more eggs in the nesting box. What colors should I expect form them?

You have (in order of the pictures):
-Yellowface I Cobalt blue Opaline
-Sky Blue Opaline
-Light Green Normal
-Sky Blue Greywing

From the pair you can expect all the chicks to be yellow-based, unless the mothe is split fo blue. Half the girl chicks will be Opalines (but all Opaline chicks will be girls), and half of the boys will be spilt for Opaline. Half of the chicks will be Yellowface I, but none will be split for it because it is a dominant mutation.

I don't know a huge ammount about mutations, but if you want the breeders to help you then try posting this in the Mutations and Genetics forum.

I hope this help, and good luck with the chicks :)

Thanks LittleFeatheredFriends! sorry it took so long to get back with you. I will post again on the other forum. Along with pictures of my babies as they get older. Learning a lot!
