I'm not seeing things am I? This bird does have two very distinct blue patches right? Is this something that happens often, I haven't seen it before myself.
Pretty boy, have half a mind to buy him myself.

You are not seeing things, it is because the yellow from the yellowface mutation he has is bleeding into the cobalt blue on his chest, making it a different greenish shade

Because he is also a sf dominant pied with the white band across his chest, it makes the color differences much more noticeable for sure
