Default The Irresistible Two

Hi all,
Here is another round of guess the colour, mutation, sex and age. Sorry pics aren't great had to take them with the phone, my camera has gone AWOL.

Bird 1 = I think Olive, spangle/opaline, boy, 6-8 months??

Bird 2 = Grey, Yellowface Type II/Spangle, female, 4 months??

The boy looks older, as that is a very clear iris ring...? The girl def young with some bars still on her head though... But as for mutation I don't know enough about them beyond 'gorgeous'. Lol

Yes, the boy has me puzzled, he is obviously older but can't decide just how old. The iris ring isn't yet white, sort of a pale brown, which made me think he is in the 6-8 month zone. Then I look again and I think maybe he is older. So much easier when they are from a breeder

#1 is an olive spangle male. Age is difficult once they pass the baby bands and iris rings stage. Comparing him to my own budgies, he has a rather mature look about him. I'd say he's an easy 8 months, if not older.

#2 is a grey spangle yellowface, not sure about it being type II though. She's probably around 4 months - iris rings are just starting to develop, cere is showing signs of colour, and the bands are still quite visible.

The male is a grey green sf spangle He is not opaline, but he does look like he might carry a violet factor. He looks pretty much fully mature in the iris rings from what I can see in the pics, so I would say 10+months for sure.

The female is a grey opaline sf spangle sf yellowface II She is definitely younger, but is starting her first molt so she is probably 4-5 months

Thanks everyone. Seems I was pretty close, looks like the opaline mutation is still confusing me though
