Possibilities for Colours/Genetics?

Hi everyone,
My pair, Indigo and Smoke have started to show breeding behaviour, and I have added nest boxes which the hen has emptied of wood shavings... I was wondering the possible mutations I could get- I don't know if they have any splits, but Indigo is DF Violet, Cobalt and Smoke is Dominant Pied, Grey Factor (Don't know if its SF or DF) I've got the same photos as on another post- haven't been able to get any others- also my hen is very hard to get photos of (keeps flying away and hiding although not afraid of me...)

Thanks for any knowledge :D

Your budgies are just beautiful!! Congratulations on the possibility of little wings on the way! I would have thought they would make white babies with a mix of colours. I suppose it depends on who has stronger genetics?? Still they will be beautiful!! :budgie:

You should get dominant pieds and normals, either cobalt blue or sky blue with 50% having grey factor if she is a sf grey . If she is df grey the all should have grey factor. All the chicks should have violet factor. I'm not sure if they can have both grey and violet factor at the same time or if they just get one.

They can have Grey and Violet, you'll most likely get 50% Normal, 50% SF Dominant Pied (depending on whether she is SF or DF, if DF then 100% SF), 50% SF Violet and 50% Violet Grey.
