and grey green SF spangle split opaline male
Oldest first. Vargs - ungi undan Sesari og Kleó by Elma_Ben, on Flickr
and this one is from another pair
only one chick
The male is English budgie normal dark green
and the female is half english budgie SF spangle opaline grey green
very pretty bright green yellow SF spangle opaline. Vargs - ungi undan Mr Big og Lóu by Elma_Ben, on Flickr
and what do you think about the color of the first one, the smallest one and the last one?
what about the gender of all five?
only one girl in the group? the smallest chick?
I am extremely impressed at these guesses... I bow to your skill and knowledge! I wouldn't have a clue with such young chicks (the younger ones especially.)
My DF yellow spangle male
and normal grey female
have six chicks.
One of them is grey like mom.
Looking forward to see how he is gonna be
I am very impressed how many color this pair gave me.
One lutino, two grey greens (I think) one grey and two unknown.
Will post pictures when they are older.
Thank you alexandria, he sure is cute!
Thank you daril, they grow very quick!
I am curious about the mutation of the "white" chick, chick nr 6 and nr 7.
chick nr 6 have clear yellow wings, tail and head, but green body.?
Chick nr 5 have light grey body and white wings with light markings on them.
I think Dilute grey sf spangle.?
And chick nr 7 is light green sf spangle?
chicks number 2-5 are siblings, dad is DF yellow spangle and mom sf grey opaline.
My light grey chick is growing and is very very cute!
her name is Dúna, (e.Down, ((eiderdown))
Question: can a bird be greywing grey sf spangle?
or dilute grey sf spangle?
she has diluted light grey markings with little bit darker grey body
and white head.
When she is about one year old, I am gonna breed her with my grey
normal male to get sf spangle grey bird.
I am hoping for strong markings, but I am thinking if the dilute (or greywing)
will ruin my plans??
