What two mutations would I need to mix in order to get a violet budgie? Just curious.

You'd have to breed 2 violets, or one cobalt/sky with a violet... Perhaps a budgie with violet parents and a normal blue could produce some violet babies. I think

At least one of the parents has to be a violet.Depth of violet will depend on single or double factor and if both birds you use are violet and or if you use two cobalts two sky blues or a combo of both.Even a single(Df Preferred) factor violet cobalt and a cobalt(desired Breeding) will give a good depth of color on the Cobalts as well it will still show on the Skys and Mauves also produced. This would be a three way win in violets.

Ok, just wondering for when I'm older and want to start breeding. I like the color purple and budgies.....so the two together.... I'm not going to start.

Thanks guys!
