Default Still Not Convinced I Have The Mutation Right

Hello everyone! I have another question about Rhaine's mutation.

A few months ago, I attended school out-of-state, and left my critters in my parents care. When I returned, Rhaine had just molted and her color seemed to have changed yet again!

I think I'm back to square one - not sure if she is yellow or white based. The only blue (mauve) feathers she has now are around her vent area - everything else is either olive green or bright yellow, so she looks like a Yellow-based bird. Is this due to the type 2 yellowface? Does the yellow progressively blend into the body feathers with each molt, even after a year of age?

For older pictures of Rhaine, see these threads:

She is a mauve, sf goldenface (this mutation spreads like sf yellowface II and is similar, but is brighter) opaline, sf dominant pied

Here is some additional info on yellowface mutations and how they effect the budgies appearance: https://cutelittlebirdiesaviary.weebl...oldenface.html

Isn't she spangle too? If not why doesn't she have any black markings on her wings?

She is freakin' adorable!

Thank you Lindsey! Her yellow has gotten progressively brighter - so she is a golden face then.

Cara, I believe she is a spangle or at least she was when she was younger. Her wing markings aren't very distinct. Could her double dark factors make her wing markings fade? Or is she a grey wing?

I'm excited to breed her this spring - she should throw some gorgeous colorful babies.
