Default Tide's mutation

Hey all, I'm looking for advice from the genetics experts. Scarlett and Tide are sitting on 7 eggs but I'm not exactly sure on Tides phenotype. I'd like to know his type to get my punnet squares going Is he a golden face cobalt? Looking at him today, I'd say heck no! More like a turquoise dark green of the green series. But check out his progression as a baby to now:

Probably about 4-5 weeks

Around 6 months. Notice how has sis on the left has little to no leaking of yellow to the body feathers.

I would say Single Factor Goldenface as the yellow is coming through in the pics very brightly. His sister looks to be a Cobalt Double Factor Goldenface, so both parents must have been Goldenface as well. Either way they are both gorgeous.

Thank you Li so would you say he's a cobalt tho like his sis, just a diff type of GF? His blue is slightly different than his sisters, especially when he was a baby.

I think he is more likely Sky Blue, his blue looks lighter in the first pic then I would expect to see from a Cobalt.

Looking at his first pic as a baby, he could be a sky blue violet. The shade of blue looks too much rich in colour to be just sky blue. The normal shade of sky blue is much lighter in colour than that.

Ooooh that's right aluz I remember reading about that a while back about how the violet factors change the sky blue to cobalt (when two factors are present). So maybe he has 1 violet factor? I agree his blue is too rich to be just sky but a little to light to be cobalt. He looks identical to his dad by the way he's on the right:

So if I matched him up with Loretta who's also a sky, then I guess ill only be getting sky babies? Poop! Guess that means no violet cobalts.

You have perfectly gorgeous representations of sf and df goldenfaces right there! Wow, brilliant!

I agree that the male in question appears to have one violet factor, and is a sky rather than cobalt normal, sf goldenface
