Yellow face II opaline male + banded pied female
If I were to breed these two, what would be the outcome of the chicks?
likelyhood of 100% baby budgies of various colors.
Okay, so if I have my dom/recessive traits right you should get ...
50% Single Factor Dominant Pied
50% Single Factor Yellowface II
50% males Normal split for Opaline
50% females Opaline
Which translates to, as the previous person mentioned, some very colourful birds. :D
More seriously, and if my math is right this means you have 12.5% chance of getting the following mutations. Remembering that for males the Opaline is split not visual, so technically these could be 6% visual Opaline and 6% non-visual.
Good luck and do let us know the actual outcome :)
Ohhh, I don't know .... but  you have some seriously bewdiful budgies!
