Omg I just died a little big from the cuteness!!!!!!!!!!! My guess is that they are both Skyblue yellowface II single factor spangle and greywing and the one with very little grey on the wings is opaline as well..

I'm glad you revived long enough to guess their mutation

I didn't think greywing just because greywings usually have grey flight tips and tail feathers? Unless the opaline/spangle combination changes that? Same thing for the very diluted cheek patches.

These two are so confusing

They are so sweet together. I can tell when the youngest chick is hungry because she follows the older chick around begging for food, I think she may have even fed her a couple of times. SO ADORABLE!

I concur with cara, they appear greywing, with the very faint spangle markings, and this could be the reason for the washed out pale body color.

That's 2 votes for greywings I'm sure you're both right, they probably aren't pale enough for dilutes.. My friend is going through some personal stuff right now and had to home all her babies quickly. I said I'd take any that were dilute/greywing/clearwing. These guys were a bit young and still need soft foods but they seem to be learning really quickly from watching the rest of the flock. I got 2 sky greywings as well but they are much older, from a different nest.

Thanks guys, they are doing well, the older chick still feeds the younger one sometimes but they are pretty much self sufficient now and needing less soft foods. I'm starting to wonder if they're actually cinnamons because next to Jade and Topaz their markings look just as brown. Or maybe it's just the combination of grey markings and yellow wings, I'm not sure! I guess I'll get a better idea as they grow and moult
