Default what is Smokey's mutation?

I hope I've put my question in the right place on the forum!
I'm relatively new to budgies and I've had Smokey for a few weeks now, I got him from a local pet shop and he's settling in nicely but I always find myself endlessly trying to figure out what his mutation is!

I believe he is either violet or cobalt as his main colourings are like a mauve or purple-y blue. It doesn't end there though, I'm sure that his mutation is not as simple as just being violet or cobalt... I'm guessing he could perhaps be either spangled or opaline, or maybe even a greywing or a clearwing too but I can't be sure, as again I'm too inexperienced! All I'm sure of is that his colourings are much different to what I've seen before hehe

I will include photos of Smokey with and without flash (his brightness is much easier to see with flash) and hopefully someone will be able to tell me about him

Thanks

He's veeeeery beautiful. 0.0 There's a budgie like that in the pet store near my house right now. I almost brought him home as a friend for my budgie. It's such a pretty mutation, but I have no idea what it is. I'm sorry! I hope someone who does know will come along soon.
