Default What type of spangle babies will i get?

Hi i am in the process of getting a Spangle hen (shortage here in Dorset) haven't got her yet so for arguments sake she is a single factor blue spangle (as i love the wing markings) i want one similar to this one.

https://talkbudgies.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1392723325

Now i have 3 male budgies here at home pics below, now what type of spangle babies would i get from them?

Bob - normal sky blue (masking olpaine)

https://talkbudgies.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1392723325

Larry - Golden face single factor i think olpaine? (unknown parents) (pic shows him as blue but he is sea foam)

https://talkbudgies.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1392723325

Lucky - Dom pied olpaine? (albino mum, bob dad)

Hey, unfortunately you won't get any spangles from opaline / normal variety, because to be able to get spangle baby you need one spangle parent.

if you got a spangle hen like the first picture you posted you would get....

With Bob: All sky blue, some spangle some normal, and some of the females would also be opaline.

With Larry: All girls will be opaline, I think he is sky blue so all the chicks would be sky blue as well, some yellow face, some spangle. (Any combination of he above.) You could get a yellow face spangle opaline in theory. this is the pairing I would choose

With Lucky: Sky blue chicks, All girls are opaline, about 50% of chicks are Dom pied and about 50% are spangle. You could get a Domied spangle opaline in theory.

Albinos will mask any other traits, so technically yes, you can have an albino spangle.

If you are trying to reproduce birds that look mostly like the mother, then pairing her with Bob is your best choice. With this pairing 50% could be Spangle, 25% of females could be Opaline and 25% of males could be split for Opaline.

Personally I prefer not to have a number of mutations happening in my birds. So out of the three Bob would have been my preference

i absolutely love spangles i want to breed spangles that have lovely dark/black markings (as most look pale to me) so the reverse of what bobs is, and colourful ones, almost a spangle version of a rainbow.
