Default What to expect from clutch?

My newest Budgie Boy, Garfunkel ('G' for short) has taken a liking to one of my girls, BlueBarry (Blue) and I would love to know what colors/mutations to expect from the happy couple. I'm told that 'G' is a Mauve normal and Blue is a Sky Blue Opaline. No matter what mutations they are, their babies would be GORGEOUS!

The opaline mutation is sex linked, so you can expect all males as split to opaline and normal hens, unless you cock is already split to opaline, then you will have 25% cocks and 25% hens opaline, 25% cocks splits and 25% normal hens, also you can expect bunch of other things depends what their hidden genetics are, and by looking at the babies color you definitely can see what was hidden for sure.

I think you would have all cobalts with half the boys being opaline and half normal and all the girls opaline.

That mauve guy is gorgeous!! He looks so purple in the pics but I know colors don't come through right.

'G' is very purple! I love purple. (It is my signature color since I was a child) So when I saw him I HAD TO HAVE HIM! Lucky for me my hubby is very understanding. He is my 5th budgie. But with some luck I may get some very purple babies too!

Had a post about color and I had one vote for Mauve Normal, then today got a vote for Cobalt DF Violet Normal.
How does this change the expectations? Eggs are in the box now and it looks like I may get 4 babies! So egg-citing! (had to be said)

If nobody is split for anything, you will get all sf violet normals in sky and cobalt blue

I promise G is not a mauve Your hen is a sky opaline though, and you will not get any visual opalines unless daddy is split for it as Salv mentioned.
