Hi there! You're photos are really interesting.
Sadly, several of them aren't coming through.
It says they've been deleted or moved?
I did look at the photos, and started with "oh,
that's a...hmm" because each time I looked just
a little closer I saw something different. I really
don't have any answers for you, but I'm eager to
hear what others who know more than I say. I'm
fascinated by the last bird, random budgie #3. It
looks like this bird is blue on one side, and green
or the kind of green you see with the bleeding
through of a yellow face type II on the other side.
I've no idea what to call this, but I hope someone
can tell us both! Thanks for sharing

I think you've mostly got it right although I might lean towards cheeki being light green just because the violet factor makes them look darker too

In that dilute I'm not seeing opaline but I am seeing goldenface maybe? Could be a sky goldenface dilute. Very pretty bird regardless

With Cheeki, her body color looks so much like the 3rd pic on Lindsey's website?

I didn't look over the goldenface or yellowface charts, so I'll have to go take a look. I assumed the color on the wings was part of the body color, but I think you're right that she's not an opaline.

It could just be that the photo is a little "washed out". You are better able to judge in person what she is just make sure you check her cheek patches and compare them to the pictures because those are often key to figuring out what's what!

Have fun reading through Lindsey's site. It's really good/helpful isn't it?

It's amazing! I'm a newbie with colors, since normally I just go with what's cute , but I've been more interested in it lately and am trying to learn as much as I can

It's also funny how after learning about all the different types that you'll suddenly find yourself thinking how lovely a bird is not just because it's pretty or cute but because you understand what a unique combination of mutations it has. It will make you see things with new eyes

Cute budgies!
I dont know why, but to me they all look females?
the one year old male, df pied, sky blue, looks female,
but maybe its just the lighting in the picture.
The nostrils looks so big and white-ish.
